TERMS AND CONDITIONS
INFLATABLES HIRE
Funtime Wedding, Party & Bouncy Hire is a member of the British Inflatables Hirers Alliance and holds £5m of Public Liability Insurance, which covers us and yourselves against any accidents or injuries that may occur as a result of our negligence or faulty equipment. It does not cover the hirer against any accidents or injuries that may occur through improper use or lack of supervision by the hirer. It is essential that all inflatables are properly supervised by a responsible adult to prevent any accidents or injuries as a result of any misuse, and this remains the full responsibility of the hirer.
All rules and regulations must be adhered to when using the provided inflatable equipment. These rules and regulations will be provided to the hirer in printed format at the start of the hire period, and will be explained in full, along with a risk assessment being carried out to make sure the inflatable is situated in a safe place and is properly secured.
Terms of Inflatables Use are as follows:
No adults on the inflatable, unless it is an adult castle.
No pets on or near the inflatable.
No food, drink, chewing gum to be consumed on or near the inflatable.
All shoes must be removed before entering the inflatable.
All pockets must be emptied before entering the inflatable.
No sharp objects, spectacles, hard toys, studded clothing to be taken onto the inflatable.
No face or body paints or henna tattoos to be applied if using the inflatable.
No party poppers or silly string to be used on the inflatable.
No smoking, barbecues, naked flames, or heaters near the inflatable.
No climbing or bouncing off the walls of the inflatable.
No somersaults, backflips, fighting, or bumping and bashing whilst on the inflatable.
Only children of similar size to be on the inflatable together.
No bouncing on the front safety step or jumping from the inflatable.
No persons on the inflatable during inflation and deflation.
A hire fee of 25% must be paid at the time of booking, with the remaining 75% balance being due 14 days before the event. Should the hire be cancelled at any time then the 25% booking fee will be held by Funtime Inflatables Cumbria to cover administation costs. Should the hire be cancelled within 14 days of the event then the hirer will be liable for 50% of the total hire fee due to lost revenue for that date. Any waiver of this fee is at the discretion of Funtime Wedding, Party & Bouncy Hire.
Funtime Wedding, Party & Bouncy Hire covers Cumbria, South West Scotland and Northumbria areas, although other areas may be available at request. Delivery and setup within a 5 mile radius of Warwick Bridge will be free of charge, distances of more than 5 miles will have an additional delivery charge added as follows, 5-10 miles £5, 10-15 miles £10, 15-20 miles £20, 20-25 miles £30.
We take safety very seriously, therefore any outdoor hires can only take place if the weather permits. The inflatables are fitted with raincovers so are suitable for outdoor use in light to moderate rain. By law inflatables should not be used in winds of more than 24mph, therefore should there be any more than moderate windspeeds we may need to cancel your hire. The windspeed will be measured and this will be discussed with the hirer on the day. If the hire needs to be cancelled for safety reasons we will refund your hire costs in full. For any outdoor hires we will provide the hirer with a digital handheld anenometer which gives an accurate windspeed reading. Should the windspeed exceed 20mph the inflatable will need to be deflated by the hirer to prevent any accident or injury. Any accident or injury which occurs due to the hirer failing to deflate the inflatable in such circumstances will be the sole responsibility of the hirer. Any damage to the equipment caused in this instance will be charged in full to the hirer.
It is the responsibility of the hirer to make sure the area that the inflatable is to be situated is fit for purpose. The area must be flat, clean, and free from any debris, mud or animal mess.
There must be sufficient space available for the inflatable to fit, with no overhanging trees or obstructions, and no sharp areas around about. The size needed for each inflatable is the size of the inflatable itself, plus an extra 2ft at each side, and an extra 5ft at the back for the blower, and an extra 5ft at the front for safe exit from the inflatable. If the inflatable is to be situated indoors then an extra 1-2ft of ceiling height will be needed above the height of the inflatable.
The inflatable will be supplied with an external extension cable and will need to be situated within 25 metres of a plug socket. If this is not possible other options may still be available so please contact us to discuss this.
There must be easy access to the area where the inflatable will be situated, as the inflatable and all safety equipment needed is quite large and heavy and therefore cannot be lifted over obstructions. If proper access cannot be gained then the inflatable will not be able to be erected.
If for any of the above reasons we arrive at the property and find ourselves unable to erect the inflatable then the hirer will be liable for the full hire fee should this situation arise.
When we come to collect the inflatable it must be in the same condition it was in at the beginning of the hire period. Any damage to the inflatable must be paid for in full by the hirer. The inflatable must be clean, this includes any mud from feet and facepaint. Should the inflatable need to be cleaned by ourselves then a cleaning charge of £30 will be added.
CANDY FLOSS MACHINE HIRE
Our Candy Floss machine is hired on a manned basis for your convenience and safety.
A hire fee of 25% must be paid at the time of booking, with the remaining 75% balance being due 14 days before the event. Should the hire be cancelled at any time then the 25% booking fee will be held by Funtime Wedding, Party & Bouncy Hire to cover administation costs. Should the hire be cancelled within 14 days of the event then the hirer will be liable for 50% of the total hire fee due to lost revenue for that date. Any waiver of this fee is at the discretion of Funtime Wedding, Party & Bouncy Hire.
POPCORN MACHINE HIRE
Our Popcorn machine is hired on a manned basis for your convenience and safety.
A hire fee of 25% must be paid at the time of booking, with the remaining 75% balance being due 14 days before the event. Should the hire be cancelled at any time then the 25% booking fee will be held by Funtime Wedding, Party & Bouncy Hire to cover administation costs. Should the hire be cancelled within 14 days of the event then the hirer will be liable for 50% of the total hire fee due to lost revenue for that date. Any waiver of this fee is at the discretion of Funtime Wedding, Party & Bouncy Hire.
WEDDING AND PARTY HIRE
All wedding and party hire items are hired on an unsupervised basis. It is essential that all hire items are properly supervised by a responsible adult to prevent any accidents or injuries as a result of any misuse, and this remains the full responsibility of the hirer.
Any loss or damage to items hired must be paid for in full by the hirer.
A hire fee of 25% must be paid at the time of booking, with the remaining 75% balance being due 28 days before the event. Should the hire be cancelled at any time then the 25% booking fee will be held by Funtime Wedding, Party & Bouncy Hire to cover administation costs. Should the hire be cancelled within 28 days of the event then the hirer will be liable for 100% of the total hire fee due to lost revenue for that date and any personalisation and themed items that will have been prepared. Any waiver of this fee is at the discretion of Funtime Wedding, Party & Bouncy Hire.
